To help raise awareness about the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine, The Harris Center has partnered with Superior HealthPlan and the Pro Football Hall of Fame to create a series of public service announcements to help inform our communities on the importance of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
Epic is a powerful tool that will allow us to connect our clients to their care team and foster a deeper integration among care providers to share information and improve outcomes. It is the preferred medical health record system used by more than 250 healthcare organizations nationwide. To date, 45 percent of the U.S. population has their medical records in the Epic system.
Houston, TX (March 9, 2021) - The Harris County Judge’s Office, Harris County Juvenile Probation, The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, the Harris County Justice Administration Department, and other community stakeholders have recently completed a Critical Intervention Mapping of the Harris County juvenile justice system. The Critical Intervention Map serves as a framework for juvenile justice and mental health systems to use when developing strategies to improve mental health services for youth involved in the juvenile justice system.

Eileen is a 24 year-old woman diagnosed with a severe intellectual and developmental disability. Because of her diagnosis, Eileen has had to endure several unique challenges. One challenge in particular has caused Eileen some distress over the years - not being able to control her urination and defecation, having to wear supportive undergarments since she was an infant.
