"The Trevino family has a daughter who's 9 years old diagnosed with ODD and ADHD. Belinda* came into services because she has presented at school uncooperative, verbally/physically aggressive towards classmates and teachers, and she engaged in fights with her mother to the point where she pulled kitchen knives on her.
LAR reported, 'I am afraid to sleep at night because of Brenda's threats towards me.' Working with Belinda has been refreshing; she has been open to working through skills training, and she looks forward to providing me with a good report of her progress.
Belinda has been on the honor roll for several semesters now, and she is currently passing all classes with at least a B average.
Recently, Belinda had a loss in the family. This brought her much closer to her mother. Although she is grieving, Belinda has not had anger outburst towards her mother. She has been really engaged in school and open regarding her thoughts about her loved one."
